Temporary Game Fix

Next patch update on Tuesday 15th of June 2010.

Assalamu Alikum Challengers

      We understand your frustration and pain of not being able to play Ragnarok Online because of the new patch, and we are working around the clock to solve your problems, and we are currently updating the game executable to run without the need of administration rights, which would be available on the 15th of June 2010 Maintenance.

      If you want to play today and don't want to wait until Tuesday 15th June 2010, please follow the following steps to solve the following game errors:

Problem #1

The game finish patching but I get a white screen and the game hangs like on this image:

Or your game closes without warning.

Solution:

1- Download the temporary solution ZIP file from this (link)

2- Restart your PC to close all hanging applications

3- Open your game folder, example: C:\Tahadi Games\Ragnarok Online

• Delete the HShield folder

• Delete the file: ragexe.exe.manifest

• Open the zip file RagnarokOnline_FIX_20100610_2.zip, and drag and drop the files to the Ragnarok Online Installation Folder, if the system asks you to replace the files, then press "Yes"

• Run the game like you usually do using Ragnarok.exe file.

Problem #2

The game shows error: Anti-Hack Error Code = 202

• If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7:
  • Run the client again as Administrator as seen in the image
